Through adventures shared on YouTube and in the field, Josh is passionate about passing on the practical knowledge he's gained, helping others discover the thrill and rewards of gold prospecting from his home base in Southern Oregon.
MY STORY

From a young age, Josh Bohmker was immersed in the world of gold prospecting and adventure. Most vacations were spent traveling across the western United States with his dad and family, selling books, mining equipment, and teaching gold panning at events from street fairs to mining shows.

Once old enough to hit the road with his dad and brother, their journeys turned into true mining expeditions throughout California and Oregon. They worked active mines, sought advice from legendary old-timers, and consulted with customers on their own mining projects and dreams.

Over the decades, the Bohmker family has guided hundreds of people in turning their passion for prospecting into reality—sharing hard-earned knowledge, practical techniques, and the enduring thrill of the hunt. Today, Josh continues that legacy, helping aspiring prospectors discover the rewards of starting their own adventures.
